Climate Alarmism is a Crime!
Climate Alarmists……. a clear and present danger to our society
In this article I expose the growing danger to our democracy and prosperity, and how we must rail against a recently formed woke based religion that feeds off the self-gratifying, virtue signaling. and aggressive cancel culture, and divisive victim mentality, that has become prevalent in our social discourse, especially in the western nations.
I am talking about the new religion of the climate emergency, and I will also explain how we expect this dangerous social journey to end.
I am not a climate denier or a troll for the energy sector or a far right agitator, although I have been called all of those names, but I am a concerned citizen that is fast believing that these organized groups of climate alarmists are a danger to our society, and certainly a threat to free speech, and if they get their way they will further damage our national prosperity.
It’s a religion.
It’s very clear that these many climate alarmists’ groups have become religious fanatics and have clearly demonstrated zero interest in seeking the truth by listening or understanding any scientific facts unless it will support the religion of a climate emergency.
This religion has been fabricated by the exceptional mass marketing efforts of the UN and the IPCC that claims to be a scientific institution, but is clearly much more political than scientific, and fast becoming a dangerous threat to the western nations. This has been amplified by the sensation seeking media that uses the alarmism to sell its services to an historically over trusting population.
Based on this a whole new lucrative industrial complex on the climate emergency has been generated with many scientific communities’ business and individuals both subjugated and institutionalized and unable or dis-inclined to stop feeding from the huge funding trough.
These climate emergency institutions and organizations are now protecting themselves from truth seeking by localized censorship, and by requesting governments legislate constraints on freedom of information and free speech on this subject, which is clearly un-democratic as well as extremely dangerous.
Population segmentation on the issue
This situation has created the following segmentation of the population on this subject.
About 5% are climate activists that either truly believe that there is a climate crisis or see it as an opportunity to form such a religion for personal gain or gratification.
Another 15% are climate emergency alarmists that have been recruited into the religion with the noble but flawed vision of saving the planet and all its inhabitants. These are typically left leaning middle class and independently wealthy individuals that need a new religion to hang on to.
Another 50% are ambivalent and would like to protect the planet but don’t want it to have any affect on their living standards and don’t engage in any conversation on the subject.
Another 20% Currently believe that the climate emergency does not exist but are not about to say anything against the climate emergency rhetoric that may damage their position in society.
Another 10% Are active and vocal climate realists and continue to speak out against the climate emergency religion.
So currently we have more of the population prepared to be vocal about support for the climate emergency, and this includes the current political leadership that is either globalist elites or left leaning supporters of anything woke.
The shift toward Climate Realism
The shift toward climate realism is happening on a number of fronts.
The scientific shift…… is being driven mainly by courageous and credible scientists that have organized into groups to dispute this “climate emergency” position and they declare that even with our accelerated global contribution to the increase of CO2 and other trace gases into the atmosphere, the NetZero journey is unnecessary, technologically unattainable, and economically unviable.
These climate reality organizations are communicating with scientific publications and information on social media and by releasing some very truthful videos on the scientific facts that clearly disputes the existence of any climate emergency both in terms of past and present impact trends. They also dispel any of the scaremongering predictions being made by the IPCC political machine.
They explain that we all need to look at the scientific facts before we accept what we are being told by the media and governments and climate alarmists and we need far more discussion before we commit to unbalanced policies that will subject future generations to low prosperity for no good reason.
They also explain that a huge part of the global population is far from ready or able to participate in a debilitating NetZero process as they fight poverty by increasing their use of fossil fuels.
They stress that our best outlook is to continue to adapt to a naturally changing planet while benefiting from the blessing of increasing CO2 that is improving the food supply, while we focus on the continuous improvement of prosperity using the undisputed power of the cleanest as possible use of fossil fuels managed by nations organized into less wasteful and much more sustainable trade blocs that can enjoy energy independence.
These experts also declare that we should avoid the fantasy of wind, solar and EVs and move as quickly as possible to nuclear via natural gas etc.
These scientific reality groups are valiantly trying to arrange a scientific show down with the politically corrupt UN IPCC, but so far, they are being evaded.
The economic shift… is being driven by about 80% of the population not vested in the climate emergency religion who now realize that the NetZero journey being proposed is going toward the economic danger zone of directing lifestyle choices on how we travel, how we heat our homes, how we cook and what we eat. And the big one, it will significantly degrade prosperity. For most of the population this will not be tolerated, and especially by the segment of the population that has no interest in the climate emergency rhetoric.
This will shift the political direction away from a passive acceptance of the NetZero journey and climate mitigation, and toward a strong focus on prosperity that can still allow some realistic and affordable and focused adaption to any climate change.
This shift is now clearly underway at the political level in most western nations, with more votes supporting populist leadership moving new policies toward national thinking goals on prosperity, and away from the past globalist elitism that embraced left leaning woke views and a climate emergency.
Its clear that as far as climate change is concerned it will be moved down the list of things future governments will focus upon if they want to retain the citizen vote and achieve political harmony.
The outcome
Its clear that the current climate emergency activists and some of the alarmists will not cancel the climate emergency religion, but it is clear they will get far less support and attention by both governments and their citizens who will continue to wise-up to the climate emergency hoax they have been subjected too.
As I have mentioned in my book Take Back Manufacturing these new governments will certainly be following something similar to “civilizational populism” that will reinforce the requirements for the security of borders, economics, and cultural stability within a national or local trade bloc setting.
The drive for productivity, and prosperity will be a high priority and these new political leaders will be watching for any opportunity to better control their economies and move them away from the global economic free-for-all of the past. They will be much more interested in avoiding international trade activity and reshoring their industries within more localized trade blocs and ensuring that trans-national corporations are managed far better.
This will also drive a desire to ensure that any natural resources are the property of the nations citizens through a sovereignty control process, such that revenue and taxation and export value is the best deal for the citizens, while still allowing the industry to be capitalized effectively. Many economists have suggested approaches on this to avoid exploitation by trans-national-corporations or runs on the nations exchange rate.
Also, a nation and its local trade bloc will want to strive for energy and natural resource independence as a preferred situation.
National level improvements on environmental sustainability focused much more on clean air, water and land use will be far more meaningful and will mobilize citizen support much more than the nebulous and unnecessary goal of NetZero.
